How musicians make money (in other words, how "free" is Spotify, really?)
This will shock you, and settles the debate once and for all over how much musicians benefit from the increasingly easy ways to buy, stream, and steal music. PLEASE consider this when making [or not] your purchases: Just because you CAN listen to something for free (or close to it) does NOT mean that you should. Musicians are real people with rent and doctors bills and children, and they deserve to be paid for what they do. Resist the urge, and do the right thing. BUY DIRECT!

MUSICWORKS brings interactive arts education into the lives of creative students. We act locally by presenting arts workshops to diverse school populations and pairing students with professionals through shared concerts. We act globally by sending teaching volunteers, supplies, medicine, and instruments to underprivileged populations in Latin America. Donations to MUSICWORKS support lessons, scholarships, equipment, and creative arts education!
